- 1 1/2 oz amaretto
- 3/4 oz bourbon/rye
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
opt: 2 dashes of angostura bitters
- mix amaretto, bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in shaker with ice
- shake & strain in rocks glass over ice
- add bitters if desired
- garnish with orange or lemon slice and maraschino cherry
