Whiskey Sour


- 1 1/2 oz rye/bourbon
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- opt: 2 dashes of angostura bitters

OR

- 2 oz rye/bourbon
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- opt: 2 dashes of angostura bitters

- Put whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup in shaker with ice
- Strain (double-strain if fresh juice is used) in rocks glass over ice
- add bitters
- garnish with lemon wedge and maraschino cherry & small straw


Poor Man's Version: Whiskey + Sweet & Sour Mix
